Using a Logon Dialog Box
Some ODBC applications display a logon dialog box when you are connecting to a data source. In these cases, the data source name has already been specified.

In this dialog box, provide the following information:
1.
In the Host Name field, type the name of the system where the database is stored.
2.
Type the Port Number setup for the database listener process.
3.
Type the name of the database to which you want to connect.
4.
Type your user name.
5.
Type your password.
6.
Click
OK
to complete the logon.
