Oracle provides a client information feature that allows an administrator to define different work load classifications and store client information associated with a connection. These workload classifications can be assigned different priorities and resource allocations. To enable applications to leverage these work load classifications fully, the Oracle Wire Protocol driver provides connection options for setting the session properties that are used in identifying a work load. These options are located on the
Client Monitoring tab > of the driver Setup dialog box. See
Using Client Information for a general description of client information and its implementation.
